» News: Signatures Increase to "Humble Answers" Letter

An update on a previously reported story - signatures added to the "Humble Answers" letter concerning the Federal Vision controversy in the PCA have been posted online. In addition to the original nine drafters, at the time of this news story, an additional 95 signatures have been added to the letter that seeks to defend the General Assembly study committee report from its detractors. Discussion of the Federal Vision issue is docketed for Wednesday afternoon at the PCA's general assembly and we will do our best to provide near-live coverage.

Ah, very cheeky! We will be providing those specific audio links as they become available. But we'll also be doing some summaries in our coverage for those who lack the time, will, or ability to listen to the streaming audio. But yes, we do commend listening to the live broadcast for all who are in the PCA; it is a great way to feel more of a part of your denomination's national work, and you will also hear reports from all the various agencies of the church.

Mr. Barlow:
does it bother you that your former pastor has signed in agreement that the Study Report should be adopted?

Hi - Jonathan Barlow here - not sure that any of my pastors are on there. I'm disappointed that anyone would sign that petition given how thoroughly well-documented the flaws in the committee report have been. Who were you thinking of?

wasn't Carl Robbins your pastor before going to seminary?

No, Carl Robbins was never a pastor of mine. I grew up in Mississippi under four different PCA pastors at various points in life - two at home, one at boarding school, and one during college + 3 RUF ministers. I've never met Carl Robbins personally, I just know of him through the internet.

Wasn't this Reformed News website started as an anonymous website? Have all the contributors to this site been named? Austin brings up a good point.
